"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
"Interfaith Council on Poverty reaches out to the needy in our community. Members from area churches and the community strive to be a sign of the unity and compassion of Christ. By working together we are able to share information, coordinate services, and make sure that we give food to the hungry, clothe the naked, and comfort the afflicted whenever possible."
Parkway has such a heart for this mission. Many of our activities include collecting for Interfaith. Based here in Hernando, it is such a blessing to be a part of a ministry that reaches so many of our own local families.
